Room 220 [Sunday night, NFB!]

Tahani, for about the thirtieth time over the weekend since Alexis had gone, glanced at the door, then over at Alexis's stuff.

Then at the door.

Then the stuff.

The moose--an actual moose--in the front office had been completely un-accommodating regarding Tahani's extremely rational need to not share a room with another human with as many shoes as Alexis had. Tahani had been nice. Tahani had been less nice. Tahani had demanded to speak with the moose's manager.

Tahani had gotten absolutely nowhere with that, so Tahani had called in reinforcements. Tahani and Alexis had been nice, then less nice. And still, there they were, stuffed into a room with far too many designer handbags.

But right now, Tahani was alone. And there were plenty of rooms on the floor that could be used by Alexis! Tahani would help her out!

Tahani was very generous, truly.

Which was how Tahani was googling "HOW TO PICK A LOCK" and scooping up a handful of Alexis's skirts (ooh, this one was cute, maybe she could borrow it?) and traipsing down the hall to room 235, where she then broke in and put the clothes into the closet, even!

Well, near the closet.

The bed by the closet.

Honestly, she wasn't housekeeping.

An hour later and Tahani had an entire room to herself, even if was still a little small. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," she said, flipping on a Bollywood movie. "Much better."

Clearly this would end so well!
